Exposing a local server: Playit or Tailscale?

If your server runs on your PC, friends cannot reach your local IP. Playit and Tailscale solve this differently, and the DzBot panel stores tunnels for both.

When to use each

Use Playit to expose the server with a public address: friends join without installing anything. Use Tailscale for a private network between your devices, with the app on each end.

Save tunnels in the panel

In the dashboard Playit tab you can register each tunnel's name, host, port and protocol, pause it, copy the destination and remove it when done.
